What an incredible fighter he was, those bouts with Eubank were unbelievable. It was a great time for British boxing.

Anyone else remember the incident with him getting attacked in Battersea Park? Turns out some witness to a crime had described the perp as "looking like Nigel Benn" so the local plod put out a photofit of Nigel Benn. Then some poor unsuspecting MOP tackles him in the park, and gets crap beaten out of him!
Sort of funny story in some respects, a proper comedy of errors.

Word was he was pretty quick on his toes , especially ( ALLEGEDLY ) after horrendous car crashes.....probably a good thing he wouldn't fit in a supercar any longer...

Cheers all - Appreciate the comments - Great era for British Boxing- Was well chuffed to get the chance to train with him - Got a good video of him working me on the pads which has made my year to be honest........
