Nice, I'm considering getting a Ducati. There seems to be wallet creep though...£5k for a 749, £6k for an 848, £7k for an Evo, £8k for a Corse and then £9k for an 899....not sure where the sweet spot is.
I keep toying with a Ducati superbike, having had a few Monsters, but as I use the Duc for the commute each day, I just don't think I could do it to a superbike. I would be too worried about it getting dirty. For some reason I don't mind the Monster 821 being covered in ACF50. Although I did have to clean the wheels down this morning before I left for work!obscene said:
PR4's from observation
Got it in one Yep, fitted them late December and have done 2k miles on them in all weathers since then (pic was after getting caught in the snow over high ground - now that wasn't fun). Will finish them off during a Euro trip at the end of the month. Then it's time to put summer tyres back on
PR4s are obviously a compromise but I actually quite like them. They move around a bit (ok quite a lot), but I used to race off-road enduros so enjoy a bit of that
Well i am at FTR at the moment and unfortunately the rear shock is way way too hard (as i suspected) and the preload adjusters are totally seized, so probably new shock time.
Weighing up whether to get another showa from ebay or put an ohlins on it
It seems crazy spending loads of money on a high mileage cat D but i could always take it off again when i come to sell it . . .

Last time I drove my slammed, tuned Turbo in december, it was all dirty, a couple of beautiful girls stopped and gave me a thumbs up! :-)
