A picture a day....biker banter (Vol 3)
Discussion
Nice pics of the France mini-adventure (but ffs - did the entire picture set need quoting for replies )
With regard to the fuel situation - I was over in the same area last month on my MV (see a couple of pages back) and one of the things I remember most was always having to watch out for fuel and almost running out three times (proper on fumes, "waiting for the engine to cough") and having to come off the autoroute. Bloody nightmare.
I didn't think a 110 mile range after my R1s 140-150 would be so bad, but it is. Total pain in the arse.

I think it's just curiosity!
I had that when I was selling my first R1 - it had something like 600 watchers and thousands of views.700 views 97 watchers....

I bet it even has a carbon fibre top yoke cover.
All that needs is a double bubble screen to finish the chav look off.

Exhaust was returned to the standard blue titanium OE pipe for sale purposes (only actual mods to the bike were 1. pipe 2. genuine solo seat cowl 3. rear reflector removed).Number plate and back mudguard in that pic were (and always had been) 100% boggo factory spec; the only thing missing is the rear reflector which had been unscrewed No cutting down or altering of either.
(I always remove rear reflectors; they generally look utterly bobbins).
On the subject of that Blue Flame exhaust - I sold that separately on Ebay to a bloke called Jamie in Exeter. Unfortunately as I was at work I entrusted the postage of said pipe to the girlfriend who duly posted it. Not recorded/special, so no signature required. Imagine my complete and utter surprise when I got shafted for it not having arrived. There are some thieving fkers in this world.

Blue flame pipes really are awful
That one looked quite nice, I thought, and the blue went with the bike. Some of those dual-outlet ones they do look simply dreadful.I was going to get some of those black carbon Yoshis for my ex-R1; however as it got stolen as I was thinking about it it's a good thing I didn't, as that'd have been an utter waste of a lot of money.
I'm considering something like Termis for my F4 - however given how loud the standard pipes are I think that they may make the sky fall in
And these look nice...

What a fantastic day out that must have been, did you get chance to chat to Schwantz and Whitham?
Had a proper chat with Whit.Only got to talk to Kevin, during the Q and A session.
I asked, if he was starting racing now, would he still go to GP, or WSB, he said he would go to WSB.
