I didn't know this young man, but from one racer/petrolhead to another, this to me seems to sum it all up, my sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to all that knew him and to those who loved him.

Think of me as one at rest,
for me you should not weep
I have no pain no troubled thoughts
for I am just asleep
The living thinking me that was,
is now forever still
And life goes on without me now,
as time forever will.

If your heart is heavy now
because I've gone away
Dwell not long upon it friend
For none of us can stay
Those of you who liked me,
I sincerely thank you all
And those of you who loved me,
I thank you most of all.

And in my fleeting lifespan,
as time went rushing by
I found some time to hesitate,
to laugh, to love, to cry
Matters it now if time began
If time will ever cease?
I was here, I used it all,
and now I am at peace.
In the circumstances that this was posted, that is probably one of the most amazing, moving things i've ever read.

RIP Jonesey

Not many people can say that they could combine a career and a passion together, so at least he passed away doing something that he loved. It's just a terrible shame he had to pass away doing it...

I was fortunate enough to spend a complete race weekend with Craig and Karen in Imola when he was riding for Foggy.
He was such a nice down to earth guy with so much enthuisiasm for racing.
He even went on the back of my friends scooter round Imola to show him the speeds and lines he takes round the course.
A truly nice guy, my thoughts go out to Karen and his family

I knew him well through Midge Smart a good freind of mine. Its mental for me because a few days before I left the UK we where all sat in a pub in cambridge chatting about the season and what was to come.

The sad thing about this is Midge got his first ride in WSS and on the same race jonesy crashed. One second your jumping for joy for Midge the next something like this happens. He was a great guy, great laugh, and he was on his way to very big things. You just dont think it'll happen to someone you know.

Midge is racing again at Donnington and im going to be massively behind him for it.
