No worries smile That looks stunning btw, you're very lucky. We're looking to move up near Torridon/ Diabaig when my youngest finishes college. Looking to buy the land soon. Only about 6-7 acres though biggrin
I'll assume you know of Get Carter for advice on the Torridon area then?
I do! Had a good mooch round on his website too. I haven't been in touch with him yet, but could probably do with getting some advice off him in the near future, especially the building side of it.
Good luck with it all. Moving somewhere like that is my plan if I ever suddenly start earning proper money.

I was looking at that photo think how amazing it would be to have free reign of that on a dirt bike.

Then I thought, hang on, that's way more than 700 acres. Then I re-read your post!

Awesome mate!
That's most of our hills which to be honest are a bit st for crossers, up there the quad comes into its own. We have around 1000 acres of green ground which is perfect for my KX smile

I suspect I'll be drunk most of Monday, so no chance of riding.

I specced pretty much all of the Triumph accessories that I could afford. Ohlins shock, 3-1 exhaust, belly pan, fly screen, a few carbon bits for chain guard etc., tail tidy, plus a few more I can't think of. Pics of the finished bike will be on here tomorrow!
Looking forward to the photos! This year I opted out of the drunken scheme on Queensday. I hope to have the roads to myself!

That sounds like a good plan, but we have 4 marauders invading from the UK to entertain, and needs must smile

Last year I visited a pharmaceutical equipment manufacturer in Germany and this was sitting in their reception:

This is the steering wheel from Martin Donnelly's Lotus 102 after his huge crash at Jerez in 1990:

Looks a bit like the DKW that turned into the BSA Bantam, except for the twin port exhaust of course.

Yes, it's a Zundapp. It was their first company vehicle!

Problem? We farm nearly all the land in this photo and much more.

Forget a crosser - with 7000 acres and a valley shaped like that, I'd be putting in a variation for a .50 rifle on my FAC. Picking off foxes and rabbits 2000 yards away with a bolt action 50 cal would keep me happy for ever! hehe

This may seemm an inconsequential, even boring video, but it's the first time my shed project has been started in a year. So chuffed it actually runs again, it looked like it would never be a bike again at one point, it was in so many bits and under a pile of crap...
