35 years ago there was a loophole in the law which allowed learners to ride any bike as long as it was a sidecar outfit.These little leaning flimsy devices bolted onto your Kawasaki Z1300 and off you went with a set of L plates on!

Sidewinder. It was a 'sidecar' on a hinged frame so the bike could still lean to get round corners. The law changed to restrict learners to 125cc bikes but still allowed you to ride any capacity bike fitted with a sidecar - hence this thing was built to exploit that 'loophole'. moto_traxport said:
