A few pics from Japan where the variety of bikes in use is brilliant, even seen people commuting on what look like vintage race bikes.
That chain needs adjusting. And his helmet won't provide adequate protection on the event of an accident.

Tut.

A local biker who is in Weston Hospice wanted a last ride out.
A trike was sourced and 300+ of us met up and did a couple of laps of WSM last Sunday.
Local paparazzi caught me and my son.

Great job!

Still enjoying poodling about locally on the Scrambler... Popped out to pick up some more drugs from just a few miles down the road and was gone for half the day... meantime, had a commune with a six thousand year old burial chamber and an ancient man made hill.

Snap, where's that, close to Avebury?

I went to lands end yesterday, scheduled ancient monuments are my favourite things to visit on the bike. This was ballowall barrow

Sorry, meant to say... Silbury hill on one side of the A4, West Kennet Long Barrow on the other. Just a mile or so east of Avebury. Don't know Ballowall, will have to investigate...

The A689 just north of Alston. Rode from Glasgow to Sheffield today. Motorway to Carlisle and then from York onwards. The rest was wonderfully twisty and a real treat!

Forever getting in the way of these car meets biggrin
The cars were rolling in every few minutes at my go-to pub stop. Usually attracts the HA crowd later on.

300 metres down the road is a greasy biker cafe usually with 30+ bikes that I try to avoid because I'm the youngest person there by 200 years.

First 'big' bike with it's snarling 650 parallel twin and it's not too far off the BHP that my car has, so it's a speed demon for me hehe

Need to find some spots to stop off at around the west mids.

I took my new Africa Twin 1100 for its first proper ride out yesterday.

Stopped off at Wellesbourne Touchdown cafe for Tea and Cake.

Always lots of bikers there.

Then on the Stratford to Alcester road you have the Piston Club at the Stag Pub.

Again always lots of car and bike meet ups, and they do an excellent big breakfast too!

No photo of bike parked with a nice view in the background just a snapshot of what we've had since october last year.

I've done just under a hundred miles today, Rothbury, Wooler and Seahouses, I've been in for 30 minutes and my hands are still numb.

Fkn weather.

Definitely tempered expectations. Didn't venture as far as planned. Did squeeze another ride in on Sunday though.

Absolutely! That is a brilliant picture! thumbup

Is the model bike the same as the actual bike? If yes, then even better.
