How do you take your photos?

They're always bloody brilliant! Do you pan with a slow shutter speed and rely on your hand/eye coordination keeping up, or is there more to it? I've tried picking one point and focussing, then waiting for the subject to pass that point but it's hit and miss.

I can take half decent photos occasionally, but I'd say that for every 30 I take I get one decent one if I'm on full-on manual mode. My camera is one of the very first digi-SLR Pentax's, so not the best and I always use it in full manual mode.
Thanks smile

Panning using shutter priority.

Talking about two strokes, I noticed this for sale at Edinburgh Harley, a touch optimistic in the pricing I think.

Damn! I would have gone to that if I'd known. When is the next one and where are the events advertised?

we're aiming to get the Scott back in the road again this year. It's a great thing but the kickstart arrangement (which is via a bicycle style chain!) is so fragile and with the two speed gearbox (again, made up of chains!) if that goes you can't run the engine. Had it break a couple of times last time it was on the road and it just got to be a pain!

That's Harley Davidson for you! (but they are booming tbf, so must be enough mugs out there) I particularly like their Ducati 900:

2 owners already and they want £11k.

They had a 748 on sale for ages at about £1,000 more than any other and for no apparent reason.

I guess they haven't heard MTB thinks they're utterly ste.
That would knock a few grand off it.

My Tuono V4R went into Rhodes & Track to get R&G rad and oil cooler guards fitted along with an R&G tail tidy and a special gear lever from Italy that lets you have race shift and keep the factory fitted quickshifter.

I asked Iain to run it on the dyno whilst it was there. He has just texted me to say that she ran 160 BHP and 80lbs-ft which I am more than happy with.

It also looks much better at the back. just a slip on and footrest delete to do and that's it for her.

I had not really been trying and then I listed lots of stuff on eBay and it all went quickly at good money, so in a fit of madness I listed the SRAD and have a firm bite on it who wanted to come over Sat to buy it but I am away so it will need to wait until next weekend.
