Got PR4s on my 2014 blade. Put them on as soon as the OEM tyres wore out.

It was either that or Avon Storms...

Didn't know recommended tyres existed. It will be fine. A 690 with a 100kg person on will weigh the same as my blade with me (70kg) on

PR4 Trails aren't on the KTM 'list' fo the 1290 SA either but they come in the correct sizes and these are designed for heavy adventure bikes. They are V rated not W as the oem Conti Trail attack 2s. However, I checked with my insurance company and they were fine with me having them fitted to the bike.
