Having some issues with misting up, total newbie ridden my bike only 3 times.

I have to wear glasses which isnt a huge issue but as soon as i pop the visor closed either the lens on my glasses or the visor fogs (my breathing i guess). So i end up riding around with the visor up or at least not closed all the way. Wont be ideal if it rains or gets cold.

Is there anything i can do? or is it just down to the fact its a cheap no brand helmet?

Cheers for any advice.

My expensive helmet does the same. I've tried foggy masks, anti mist visors the lot, and the only thing that works for me is washing up liquid on the inside of the visor. Given up buying useless products.

+1 for pinlock, seems to work OK, got me a Shoei helmet the other day which has "gaps" for my glasses arms which makes putting them on a sinch, I doubt they are there by design though idea the helment I borrowed on my DAS was a right pain in the arse wobble

If you wear glasses, nothing helps more than a Foggy mask. That was until I bought my RX7 Corsair and for some reason I don't need it in that.

I've never had a fogging problem with my Shoei X spirit fitted with a pinlock visor.

Another vote for pinlocks. Fog City inserts are a cheaper equivilent that stick on to the visor. work just as well as the pinlock but don't last as long.

I've tried all sorts to prevent my glasses misting up and the only one that really works is wearing contacts instead. Had a pink waxy stick I got from a dive show some years back that was about the best I tried, you draw a cross on your specs with it and then polish it in, but still not that great.

Leave your visor open a little bit when in slow traffic and open the vents, it should be ok to close it on the motorway and the air will be circulating a lot quicker. Works for me anyway.

I wear glasses the best solution I have found is the BMW System V helmet made by Schubeth with the "double glazed visor" no fogging now

If you don't have a pinlock system they can be fitted after market, or use an adhesive fogcity visor insert. Most coatings don't last too long. Your glasses are harder, unless you get a breath diversion as mentioned above, or don't breathe there's little you can do.
