Right going to get a Zard, well soon.
I got a choice:
[quote]Homologated - 80Db road legal version.Removable baffle
Race exhaust measures at 102Db.
Road legal version has different internals to race version, but looking the same

Now I am running a Triumph race can's at the moment. no problems.
the plus is the race can is £30 cheaper too.
Only downer I feel is if I was to take it on track I might not get on their. but it does say

for the race can which is quieter than I got at the mo
thoughts? go for the race can or road legal?

Unless it's excessively loud the race one may get through an mot which is surely all you need if you get a producer. All you then need to do is make sure your insurance co covers it which some do I understand.
Road legal for me, can't see the point of the extra complication of it not being road legal for the sake of a bit more noise but then that's just me
