Maybe he's seen the light, no real need for a 600bhp fire breathing monster when you're nipping down to the local cafe really. Now if only I could convince my girlfriend that I need one too :scratchin:

BTW: He looks stupid and to think he sgs off the 'power ranger' look smile

I've always wondered if it was him or not who rode the Ducati 916 (at slow speed) around the Monaco GP circuit for his MotorWorld series.

Oh and in case you hadn't heard he's been in a crash, he's ok. Hammond will milk it though.

Cant believe he is on two wheels after all the hammerings he gives us bikers lol. Good for him.

Wonder if it's going to be for TV? He seems to have a microphone on the front of his lid...

Not sure why he'd be going for a beer and a fag for TV though!

Yep it was him and he also crashed the same said Ducati into some metal railings when he was filming that episode...Perhaps thats why he (used to?) dislike bikes so much, he cant ride them..

Doesn't have to be that thing looks like a 50cc, as I'm guessing he has had his car license a while he doesn't have to have L plates

just because you can drive a car does not mean you can ride a bike. or am I missing some part of your post? I understood the law to be L plates on a provisional license and no L plates on a full BIKE license. please correct me if I am wrong

Maybe his crash was actually him falling off the scooter for forgetting to put his feet down at traffic lights and they are covering it up biggrin

If your licence was issued before 1st February 2001, then you can ride a 50cc moped, capable of not more than 30mph without L plates.

It's a GTV125 (just checked the reg), so Mr C has a full bike licence.

as above. i've been driving for 14 years. when I passed you could ride a 50cc with a car licence and drive anything up to 7tons. now you can only drive 3.5 tons I think.

Or he's only done his CBT and has decided to delay sticking on his 'L' plates.
