Got back to the bike bay tonight to find guess what? Yes.. a fking scooter leant against my bike. His fairing in contact with my indicator. My alarm isn't the most sensitive, but when I pressed my fob it relayed the fact it had been activated.
I had a quick look while I was there for damage, but failed to see this until I got home
Only a little crack you might think, but these fairings are like hens teeth in undamaged condition.
The wker that couldn't give a fk how he parks has no idea what he has just started!

Well, I have to say, this is the straw that broke the camels back. I always give consideration to how close I park to other bikes, and stupidly expect others to do the same. However, after suffering this sort of parking ignorance for far too long now, I think it's time to react
Im hoping I see the ignorant tomorrow so he has the opportunity to do something to rectify this issue. Failing that, I won't be posting my next course of action

I know you're an old fella so if you need any help with some heavy lifting and this happened where I think it did, then I'm in the area tomorrow and Weds.
Haha, cheers. I'm on a new project about 5 mins away so in a different bay. Still, you wouldn't expect it in such an expensive areaDisc lock? I'd have thought a few meaty cable ties through the wheel and around the fork leg would be sufficient to immobilise most scrawny scooterists; they're unlikely to be carrying anything that could cut them.
If it was me (and luckily it's not as I don't work anywhere I have to park near scooters) I'd be tipping a bottle of threadlock into the ignition barrel...

For that exact reason, my bike lives up on the sidewalk, chained to a fence that surrounds a park. fk running the scooterist gauntlet. I've seen them pushing them in from the front because there isn't room to be alongside the bike.
WTF is a 'sidewalk'? Please can you enlighten me?Wouldn't be surprised if they rode them in for maximum wedge.

Superglue works too, so I'm told. Or expanding foam up the exhaust. If it was me (and luckily it's not as I don't work anywhere I have to park near scooters) I'd be tipping a bottle of threadlock into the ignition barrel...
