It starts tomorrow!!!

At approximately 6:45am tomorrow I will be on my way to pick up some Sidi Vertigo boots, found on ebay and agreed on £100. They've been worn once on a bike and are 'as new' so I'm pretty chuffed with that. 
Boots in hand (read: on feet) I will be on my way to Link in Chelmsford to take my CBT which starts at 9:00am.
Other than a quick blast on my brothers GSXR600 a few years ago (on a privately owned road officer) this will be my first proper on-road biking experience so needless to say I'm pretty excited!
Sunday will see me promoted to the 500 for the first day of my DAS; now this I really am excited about.....a proper bike, on proper roads.
I'm quite looking forward to having a crack at the u-turns but not so much the emergency stop as it may not be a dry weekend!
Monday has seen a slight re-shuffle and instead of a full days tuition, followed by a test at the end of the day, I am now taking my test at mid-day!
Scary stuff but at the moment I'm not really nervous, I just can't wait to get on with it.
So...wish me luck and I shall report back on Monday, fingers crossed, with a positive result and a load of questions about every bike under the sun, helmets, leathers, textiles etc etc!
