Midlands Newbie Ride-Out

Lots of people have passed tests recently and bought bikes so I thought it might be interesting to go for a newbie-paced ride out somewhere in the middle (cos that's where I am and it's my thread ).

Any takers, thinking perhaps last Saturday in the month taking in the peak district or some other nice roads - open to suggestions - possibly dropping into Matlock which is always crawling with bikes & bikers on a weekend.

Experienced riders welcome, though I expect the pace to be quite steady as I'm selfishly aiming this at noobs who'll hopefully all be of a similar pace.

What does everyone think?
