Had mine 7 months now, with 2400 miles covered
expenditure so far -
week 1 - remove corsa exhaust and re-fit factory exhaust, reset engine management light (light was on due to leaking exhaust/failed MIL eliminator) parts £0 - labour £50 mates rates
week 2 - fan motor & relay burnt out. cost of parts approx £200. labour £0 (replaced myself)
front number plate bracket approx £60
new foglight (old lens cracked) approx £75
new fusebox cover approx £15
new dustcaps with logo's £20
rounded off wheelnut cost £10 to have removed
month 6 - leaking oil cooler lines, parts £200 labour £30
car is also booked in for a front bumper repaint 8th Dec to get rid of stone chips £350
approx £1000 total, less £250 from sale of the Corsa exhaust = £750
Am I still happy with the car? you bet!

Jesus that's some serious repairs and I thought I was unlucky!!
In the year I've owned it:
Leaking fluid reservoir
Failed steering pump
Leaking oil cooler lines
Front crank seal failureFixed
Front wheel bearing and hub
Not including ruptured boots under all the arches haha!

Haha yes that can be crossed off now, Mark did his finest and we were victorious! The seal was changed...with the help of a carpet removal tool, which is NOT stated in the handbook!! FYI, anyone attempting to change oil switch or sender...give yourself patience. Well done Sir Mark!
Now about that wheel bearing...
