Either pm your email address and I'll get the organisers to email you or search If Facebook for 'sprint and trackday' and message them in there. Where abouts are you then? I'm just in Burntwood if your local

Be good to see you there Ian, will have to make sure I bring my camera and try and get some pics when I'm not on track.

You ever go the the TVRCC Barton marine meet when it's on?

Apart from doing the damper Fandango I fitted a pair of these little switchable interior lights that are a perfect fit in the ashtray holes!

Bugger me, why are they upside down all of a sudden?

MOT today

checked a few things this morning:

adjusted handbrake
cleaned and tested wipers
re-fitted exhaust tail pipes to re-centre

I was a bit worried about the Emissions test as its the first MOT since fitting the coil packs and 30lb injectors. Changed the AFR map targets and took the laptop in case adjustments was needed to the fuelling.

Went straight on to the emissions testing machine when I arrived and passed first attempt. Everything else passed with no advisory's bounce

went for a long drive with the roof off to celibrate smile

If you are going to do the TVR Sprint Challenge thingy that is featured in Sprint Magazine, then there are quite a lot of rules and requirements, enough to put me off from entering.
MSA B Licence
Oil Catch tank/sealed system & Timing Strut
Helmet, race-suit & gloves.
Oh, & some numbers to go on the side of the car.

I have had the worst day possible today, manifold gaskets..

Started at 10am and just gave up, put the car sort of back together again so I can have another quick go in the morning, then drive it to Halfords to buy a chisel. N/S bottom 2nd from front, the one that you can only get an opened ended spanner on, I've tried everything. I got to the point where I had the Y piece off so that I could tilt the manifold, using bits of wire to pull the spanner to get extra leverage and using a hammer to try and shock it loose.

There's no gaskets left in there, I've just sprayed the last half of the release oil on it and if it's not loose in the morning I'm going to make loads of noise driving to Halfords smash

They let you change the oil pressure so your gauge reads the same as other TVR's wink
