There's a comments section on the Tvr-webmart website that has the insurance experiences of quite a few people. Might be worth contacting a few of the companies quoted there.

Try hiperformance, I'm 32 with full no claims and am paying just over 1100.00 with a 9000 mile limit per year.

Car is a '98 chim 500

Worst quote was from the AA wanting over 4500.00 and that INCLUDING my 40% no claims!

Just got a quote of £660 per year for me (33, full NCD, no accidents 3 points for SP50) and my wife (38, full NCD, no accidents, no points) on a Chimera 450 with 6,000 miles per year allowance.

Taking that to 12,000 miles per year gets us a quote of £690.

That's fully comp with £150 excess ... with Direct Line.

I'm 25, with a Griff 500 and only 2 years no claims (company cars before that). I'm paying 1k with Tesco's (10k mile policy), which seems rather reasonable compared to some of you guys!

Darren.
