at last got the dash pro in and wired all seems well now i have to configure it but i think it looks well.the new radio is in as well and working gives a lot more room for the gear lever.

Yes it can daz but not all at once we will have boost pressure egr readings and some other configured parameter like g force lap times acceleration so we kept the standard small clocks plus i feel it would look odd with none at all should look good at night all can be blue back lit.

Gets better and better John - the heatshield under the blower and over the n/s manifold, is that one you've folded up or is it part of the SC Power kit?

mixed day at emerald today, plus just like to say what a great team they are nothings ever to much trouble john spent a considerable part of the day sorting the dash pro with me, but i digress mapping has gone to plan but now the standard 500 griff clutch cant put up with torque we are now approaching 400ftlbs of torque running 9psi cant get any further readings suffice to say that was on load site 13 out of 15 at around 4500rpm so a fair bit to come, will get full power run when new clutch sourced and fitted.

following on from last post i have removed the gearbox and clutch there is actually nothing wrong with the clutch itself no visible wear or other problems just not up to this kind of torque so an ap racing clutch has been ordered will be with me tomorrow, also going to do the gearbox while it is out i have found a builder who will fit the larger gears and bearings into our casing plus the steel bodied pump so should improve its longevity i also finally got the dash2 doing what i want not the easiest thing in the world but fantastic backing from race technology got some pics of the rolling session dash and gearbox removal,i also turned up a little stainless piece to accept the new little rocker box vent.

How does the new dash know what gear it is in and have you changed the gearbox ratios ? I thought the engine needed positive pressure ,will the breather change things .

The gear indicator is worked out with the ratios rpm and some electronicary the engine was only running with it in gear on my building blocks so no load so no boost pressure in the plenum no still on original box and hopefully the little breather will help keep crankcase pressure down.

Did you stick the springs on to a standard shock absorber or were the valves uprated .

Correct I have Nitrons ! trying to find out if the valving needs changing to suit the spring rates.
