2.0 to 60 foot is very good on road tyres. I do think you could still get a 12 easy enough tho. If you are not wheelspinning at all then try a few more revs and getting to full throttle quicker. Try changing gear as fast as possible.
Also don't forget to stage only enough to light the 2 stage lights at the top of the tree. Don't roll any further forward. This gives you the maximum run up to the timing beam
Cheers Derek, I will try again next year to get that illusive 12. Cunning trick with the staging.... I'll bear that in mind Also don't forget to stage only enough to light the 2 stage lights at the top of the tree. Don't roll any further forward. This gives you the maximum run up to the timing beam
I'd be changing up at the limiter (well just a smidge before it actually). You want to be riding the power hump so you are as far up the power graph as possible when you've made your gear change.
Our race T350 makes peak power at 7800rpm but it will be revving to 9000 rpm next year for just this reason. No change in peak power, just more revs means you can ride the peak power hump and make use of the power, rather than changing up and falling back down the bhp graph too far .. result = faster car for no extra peak power

Heres my times. I had headunit failure on the second run, it fell out on to the gearstick.

I've had that at a TD, I remove it now.Heres my times. I had headunit failure on the second run, it fell out on to the gearstick.

Looks like you shut off early on the 3rd run. Would have been the best out of the 4. You need to keep your foot planted past the gantry. Heres my times. I had headunit failure on the second run, it fell out on to the gearstick.
Nice times. Shame I didn't get a chance to talk to you more. Next time.

I thought that too but after checking the logs the water injection wasn't spraying it 3rd and 4th so the inlet temp hit 60c and the ECU pulled the timing right back.Nice times. Shame I didn't get a chance to talk to you more. Next time.

So a few tweaks and fixes and pushing for 11's along with a host of others.Come on guys its easy once you know how

Can't wait to see what you get on a rolling road session - my guess is you are pushing out 375+bhp maybe more. Heres my times. I had headunit failure on the second run, it fell out on to the gearstick.
If we were not 100% committed to the Cerbera build I would definitely go back to the Chim and look at doing some of the extra modifications you have made which are very impressive.

A session on the rollers is next on list once I get the ECU controlling the water injection. I'll put a thread up soon of what I've done, I learnt lots from your threads so it would be good to share it as well. At what point do you need water injection ? what is safe ?SILICONEKID345HP said:

Its used on turbo or supercharged engines to bring the air temp down. I can get my inlet temp up to 60 degs with a pull through a couple of gears and thats after the intercooler! A fine mist of water brings it down to a more manageable 25-35degs Gassing Station | Chimaera | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
