I'm juggling between Richie and a rather nice Lady of Italian heritage wink it's a hard life hehe cars going well,
It's one thing to work on your own car, very different sence when working on someone else's beloved.

The only smoking that's likely to happen is when we plug the wiring in,, ! biggrin
the wiring is top class and all works so far, it's looking good.

Well,I'm bloody worn out running back and forwards making tea doing bacon and sausage sarnies and generally keeping the peace!
Boys have done good tho, brakes all bled and my nice 4pot calipers fitted with the pads no dramas all went well, clutch bled and all ok,engine all filled with fluids.....and nothing on the floor! ACT cherry bomb exhaust just going on,she is taking shape quite quickly and the nice thing is had all bits to hand so boys were wanting for nothing and were able to get straight on
Really good day,thanks guys.

Richard may look like he's falling apart, and Alun may look like he's an appalling $$$$, but they both know what they are doing and have fettled their own cars, so know where the bits go.
Good work, guys, you've done yourselves proud. clap

Presumably apart from grunts and the occasional "push!" there was total silence in the Sheel garage? whistle

Meanwhile, back in the real world...

I managed to find an hour of sunshine to take my Tiv out for a run this afternoon and I had you, Richard, sat alongside me all the way occasionally reminding me that the tarmac was cold and damp so take it easy.

Made up that the car is coming along so quickly and even more happy to hear your medical news.

Keep Alun earning his bread and butter though.

When your as fast as me,, I suppose it's inevitable people will talk,, and I ain't talking about the spanners either,,
Some people own their own businesses cos nobodies stupid enough to employ em,,unemployable types,, hehe

We really had a lot of fun today, achieved plenty despite the Two Richards talking bks all day,,
Rich had really good news regards his illness,, seeing him get lights and most the electrics up and running yesterday was a bit special,, like a kid who'd got the keys to the sweet shop,, I'll not forget that face of pleasure and satisfaction I tell you wink

It's coming on nicely,, lots of work to do but we're getting slicker at it,
Start interior tomorrow smilesmilesmile

I can only licken it to a 5 year olds birthday party....in fact you all know who the 5 year old is in this one!
Packages are arriving and aluns tearing into them with a big grin and excitement in his joggers, rich is looking on in distane but I caught him having a little dance to smooth fm,and there is more noise coming out of the garage that the schooll playground that my house backs onto.......and the docs says I must not get too excited!!!!

By some margin this is the most entertaining and heart-warming thread on PH at the moment. Please keep the banter coming as well as getting that Chim finished. Best wishes to all concerned, Eric
