Just a hypothetical question, how would some one open the boot. From inside the boot?

And just for interest these things are not air tight are they?

Well I was hoovering out the boot, I had taken out the spare wheel and checked it over. I noticed the boot stay was a bit loose.

Looking at the boot I thought "I bet i could fit in there", thinking it would be much easier to tighten the bolt if I was inside.

As I wriggled to get out I must have knocked the stay. WOOSH boot lid hurtling towards me I did the stupid thing and ducked! SLAM - click - fk!

I had 2 13mm spanners and luckily my phone, rang a few people up asking "You wouldn't happen to be local would you" "Why?" "no reason". And I also posted here.
