Anyone any cost estimates on replacing all of the carpets in and around the footwells/doors?

Looking decidedly shabby! Or recommendation near Sheffield?

Thanks

If the carpets are not torn you can clean and recolour them yourself with a fabric dye, My footwell carpets were black so i threw them in the bath with some persil liquid and scrubbed them rinsed a couple of times then i had a result as Shelly saaid "put them in the washing machine" so i did and they look really good. There is another thread with posts on recolouring them. Hope this helps.

I have been quoted around £850 - $900 by two reputable trimmers, both quoted to use 'as original or better' wool carpets, full interior.
Both specialise in high quality restoration work.

The choice of carpet will make quite a difference in price, and in the end result.

Dave the Trimmer pops up often as highly recommended and cheaper, but I've not seen his work, or carpet specifications personally.
The photos always look good, and from the number of times he has been recommended, he can't be too bad one would suppose.

The boys at Fernhurst did mine. It was part of the deal when I bought the car, so I cant comment on the cost, although IIRC the full carpet set was 500 or thereabouts excl. fitting.

Very pleased with the work, would recommend them for it if you want it done well.

Talk to my mate Matt (Matt-Man on here) - he has a Wedge but re-carpeted it himself a couple of years ago. It took a few evenings but didn't cost any more than the carpet and it looks fantastic!

Hi, I live near Sheffield in the Hope Valley. Was thinking of fitting new carpets in my Cerb (once i've sorted the water leaks that is) and was quoted £550 to supply & fit by D&C Trim in Blackpool (For carpet with a wool mix) However, they would need you to leave your car with them for 4 days.

More locally I have heard good reports of Bielawskis the car trimmers down Attercliffe. Not sure how much they would charge you though.

Bielawskis were excellent when it came to replacing the hood on my wife's MX5, reasonably priced & good workmanship. I didn't know they did carpets!
