Here is my Chim with the Steve Edwards headlamp kit finally fitted.

I like these because at any time I can go back to the original look - this is a very clever solution that Steve has come up with and i personally like the look a lot. For me it updates the look of the Chim...and if I ever sell it (never) I could return it to stock in an afternoon.

the kit was £350 and if you were organised you could do it in about a weekend...
I took longer coz I was short on having a long bit of spare time and ballsed some of it up and had to redo and fineagle some of it...I dont think this was helped by my car having a replacement front end of indeterminate origin (well to me anyway) after a geriatric Belgian ripped the front off in 2009. tt.

just to re-iterate - these are easily removed and need NO BODYWORK OR PAINT work AT ALL

Very nice indeed...Another thing on the to-do list! I assume they are held in place with sicaflex as per rear covers?

How do a buy a pair?

no actually - large washer and wingnut as per the originals (I added a locking washer just to be sure)
Mine have a small gap at the top but it looks ok - you could sikaflex it to fill the gap but the fitting instructions show you how to waterproof them internally..

Just had a look and originally was a little concerned would be to difficult for DIY - there are 16 steps for crimes sake! -but getting through the detail it's all straightforward smile

I can't tell from the pics but did you get the cowls colour coded? They just look dark in the pictures

no I went with the black ones in the end and the light tint lenses...they look ok I think - like the later TVRs that have back surrounds under clear lenses
I think the colour-coding in in with the price if you want it...
