The rear section of the roof on my Chimaera is (I think) about a year old whereas the centre section is older and therefore lighter in colour.

I had hoped that slopping on some Fabsil would darken both down and it has but not enough. They are still two different shades.

Any ways of darkening the older section which is still in good nick? If not, wher to go and what's it going to cost?

Aahhh, but is it any good? Can anyone vouch for it?

The roof sections are probably a good two shades apart although as there's nothing wrong with the actual fabric I suppose it's worth a try.

It is good... is your roof blue or black? I guess the black would tone up better? I have a dark blue roof & their blue dye brought the whole thing up a few shades... quite a lengthy job though & you must clean it well first & use a good quality 2" brush, lay it off carefully or you will get streaks & lines... also, mask the rear window up & surrounding bodywork for the back section as it will run...

vouch for it??? I should say, it brought the grey roof on my chim back to perfect black. Both parts were about the same shade though. Clean it well first then water proof it after, worth the cost IMO...

I sorted mine out with a few coates of Thompsons waterseal.
The Targa was new and very Black compared to the rear end.

It did the trick tho...eventually

Mine is blue with a marked difference between the two sections.

I don't recall seeing anything about colours or dye on the website?

Good point on cleaning thoroughly. As I've just Fabsil'd it I suppose a session with a brush and hot soapy water would be a good idea?

They do blue. It’s in the colour ‘drop-down’ box.

Yeah thanks. If I'd been more awake when I ordered I've have seen that. Bugger!

Oh well, I'll see if they'll change it. If not, anyone want to buy a 500ml bottle of black Renovo?
