Windscreen wiper motor - help please
Discussion
Hello all - lots of TVR's over the weekend, roofs off made for great viewing. I have an issue which will only get worse as the winter gets colder. When I try to use my windscreen wipers and wash the screen, the usual bzzzzzzzzzzzzz noise you get to draw the washer fluid no longer makes the noise - needless to say - I still have a very dirty windscreen. I am assuming that there is a little washer motor that engages when pulling the wiper arm towards you - is this easy to replace if you are far from a technically minded individual and if so, where can one get such a thing - or should I just take it to Dave Batty and call it job done.........
Any response would be good as I can't see much now.

If it makes no noise at all it might be worth checking you have a live and an earth there when the switch is pulled (ign on).
If it does make noise and you have water in the bottle then pull the pipe off the pump and try it again, if nothing comes out, new pump time.
Pull it out of the bottle (push fit into rubber seal) and go to a decent Motor Factors with it in your hand, should be no problem.
