Headlight Bulbs (H4?)

Tiv's at Home, as is my Bible and i need to buy some new bulbs for the headlights (Mains gone), thought i'd take the opportunity to Upgrade like Pod's has, will i need the same bulbs H4 on my 500 Chim.

If anyone can have a look in the manula or Bible for me that would be most excellent...

Got some Ring Ultra Xenon 60% brighter jobbies (H4 12V 60/55W)...



Paid a bit much for them, but needed them at short notice.

Pod, where did you get the Ring Ultras from matey?

The SL takes H4s and the headlights aren't great - well, not for a countryside habiting bumpkin comme moi...

Local autofactors does them... it's opposite the gym, so I can pop in later today if you like.

No worries mate, I was thinking of a pair of Silver Stars, got them on the E Class. Well happy with them.

If you've got panels then turn the car onto full lock, and you should be able to get to them... just. Otherwise it's wheel off time.

Have seen Joolz change the bulbs without removing the wheels... the man clearly has 10 elbows with double joints or something...

Do any of you know of cars (Chims)that have had the HID light upgrades fitted? Tower View asvertise them on their website as do a few others, just wondered how much of an improvement/easy to fit and costly they were (would imagine around the £400 mark)??
