HELP 100 amp fuse

just found my 100 amp fuse has snapped anyone Know if I can get one from a local motor factor? or do I need to get one from TVR specialist?

Its just a 100 Amp strip fuze, should be able to get one from anywhere, but your local TVR dealer will have one and they're not expensive.

Bit of a swine to get to without the right kit though!

Ive got it out but my TVR dealers a bit of a walk 20 miles ish

Most motor factors should have one.

Seriously tone, just short it out and drive over and get a new one.

If the fuse had burnt out, then you'd be right to be worried, but its just broken with wear and tear so just whack something in there to short circuit the connection temporarily.

He's probably right, unless of course there is a problem somewhere else and that fuze just saved you a fortune!!!

Never heared of it yet, they seem to fail mechanically quite often though. I'm pretty much convinced they are a waste of time and just one more thing to go wrong.

I had symptoms with my car not too long ago, which suggested the fuze had gone and there were a lot of opinions the same as yours, with only the odd apocalyptical dissenter.

I'd risk it personally!

Well gents I got 10 of the little gits for £1.75 from my local motor factors, so if anyone wants one local to Bedford come and get one.

I'd agree entirely with that. It's the first car I've ever seen with a fuse in the charging circuit.
