cigar lighter

any idea what should hold it in place - as mine has fallen through into the door!

I replaced mine yesterday so i can now use the sat nav Woo Hoo

There should be a plastic ring between the rim of the ciggy lighter and the trim.
A new lighter come with a plastic ring that is bigger so the hole needs filing at bit..

cheers, I have the plastic ring bit, I guess it just slots in and stays there by chance? does'nt appear to be any fixing

Inside the door panel, the orignal ciggy lighter a barrel screwed up to the top then was secure then connected the cables..
Mine now is snuggly fit to the ring and thats all
