ChimaeraPages is coming along nicely. Thanks to everyone who has sent me stuff!
I'm still looking for:
- Photos for 'The Gallery', I'd like a variety of shots. Please include details of your car's year/model and any mods.
- Articles/writeups, if you're doing any work on your car why not take some photos and write a short description? Don't worry about formatting, I'll sort that out.
- Suggestions for other stuff to include.
- A better logo / page header.
Also, I'm planning to start putting the Owner's register together. What details should the register hold? I'd rather users didn't have to log onto the site to view the register so what details are people happy to have public. (Registation numbers / email addresses etc...)
I'm planning to dedicate another weekend to this so any help would be much appreciated. Please email submissions to: chimaerapages@gmail.com

Hiya
I will send you some photos of the Chim (+ new mods) if you like as have a number of bits that others are wanting to do (mirror/seat conversion etc). What size images do you want and shall I just send them to your e-mail address??
Cerby4.5
That'd be great, thanks! Image size doesn't really matter and I'll scale them accordingly.
Good Effort!
Some random sites in my favourties which might be useful:
general info on cam timing:
www.alcester-racing-sevens.com/cam_timing.htm
Peter Beech's workshop notes (description of fuel injection system v informative):
www.peter.beech1.btinternet.co.uk/TVR/wsncont.htm
Snorky's exhaust manifold piece:
www.snorky.co.uk/Articles/ExhaustManifoldGasket.html
Steve Parker's alternative parts list (I think BB has taken this forwards though):
www.parkersteve.dsl.pipex.com/chimaeraparts.asp
I don't know where people think we should go re suppliers websites, but it would be good to have links to all the usual suspects in one place. In addition to the TVR specialists we all know and love I have a list of Land Rover stockists who are good value for starters, water pumps etc.
Also, subject to PH approval, we could link to the definitive posts on PH re items such as stepper motor, ignition timing, cams, rebushing, shocks, brakes etc etc?
Keep up the good work!

I'm looking into alternatives to the Lucas stepper motor, apparently according to US websites, there is an equivalent part on a Jeep and also the Chevy Astro van. I'll keep you posted.
The idea is we can add to the Alternative Parts thread and give both Axe and BB more information to flesh out their parts lists pages on the relevant sites.
Regards
Iain

From the FAQ:
Which tyres should I use?
This is the source of much discussion. However one key point is that you should skim on quality tyres. They must be 'Z' rated. Toyo and Bridgestone seem to be the favourites.
Should be 'not skimp'
Also, they don't always have to be Z rated - my insurance company was happy with lower rated tyres on my 4.0 (not ridiculously low though)
Dash lights - some dash light buttons have been modded to control the engine fan.
What does this light mean - assuming its the centre console, its worth pointing out that my manual was printed incorrectly and had the oil and electric lights mixed up!

Hi PoD, thanks for the corrections. I've updated the page.
BTW if anyone else has suggestions/corrections for the FAQ page please let me know.
radzoule - thanks for the links, I'll include these soon.
chim666 - regarding the specialists. At the moment I'm just planning to do a list. Ultimately sortable by region / specialisms. However I like the "Meet the indie" idea from the Griff Pages...
Thanks again to everyone who's helped out. It's slow going (especially now that I actually have a Chim!) but we'll get there..
