Mechanical Warranty for Used Chimaera

Hello ,
I am looking take out a warranty to cover mechanical/ electrical breakdown ,parts /labour on my 6 yr old Chim 4.5.

The car has been covered until recently but i now find the company I was using have dropped out of the game.

If anyone knows of a company who may offer such cover would you please let me know?

We have this in addition to AA Breakdown Cover but it's easy to get lulled into a false sense of security. Only a relatively small percentage will need recovery from a permanent defect that prevents the vehicle from completing its journey. This condition is a central requirement to qualify for a successful claim under the 'parts and labour' scheme. Wear and tear and consequential damage are excluded.

I took out an extended RAC 'Warranty' on mine when I bought it from a performance car dealer. Frankly, it wasn't worth the paper it was printed on. They managed to wriggle out of EVERY single thing that went wrong on the car. I'd never, ever use them again.

Autoprotect will warranty any TVR up to 10 years old.
