Clutch...

Has anyone used a firm called Techniclutch to supply the plates for the clutch?......Mine's just starting to slip when (to quote a previous thread) "giving it johnny large potatoes!"
Or is it better to get one from TVR Power etc?.......Any recomendations greatly appreciated! It's for a 4litre and I was going to replace bearing and pressure + friction plate.........spring week job methinks!

Just had new genuine clutch plate, cover and bearing fitted on 98 chim 4.0. £500, Labour £200, Parts £300.

Given a 2nd chance I wouldn’t use them again
Paid OTT for 48hr delivery, yet turned up 4 days later (promise of delivery refund still not honoured by them)
Clutch kit they supplied was not the same as my Chimaera assem
Bearing was wrong (didn’t even fit gearbox)
Had to send them my clutch for them to “match it”

Car off the rd all this time with no clutch ...

Told me they now had a brand new bearing on order, yet on return it was still my old bearing n looked like they had just rebuilt my ol clutch.
Not impressed !

whats wrong with stock clutch if theres no problem with design,reman,rebuilt clutches are a waste of time,fit genuine quality from known name brand luk,borg& beck sachs etc,fit and forget.save now pay later, just my cents worth sorry....
