help car won't start!

went to start car this morning and all electrics work, but when go to turn the key NOTHING not even a click, is this just a flat battery?

Well if the battery isnt flat then it sounds like the immobiliser - if it was me I would ut a charger on for 10 minutes (or try a jump start) first. Does the fuel pump prime when you turn the ignition on ? If not then try disconnecting the battery for about 5 secs (just remove the earth connection) , reconnect then immediately press the alarm plipper to lock/unlock the car. That will reset the alarm and may well solve the problem.

When did you last drive it - if its been a while then its most likely a flat battery

Like any car the haedlights wont shine if the car battery is flat.

Turn the ignition on and listen for the pump starting it should run for a few seconds and then stop,if it does it is not the alarm. Go to the starter and check that the smaller white and red wire that is connected to the started soleniod is getting 12 volts when the starter is activated by the key.If it is getting voltage then it is the starter or its main feed (thick red Wire)BE CAREFUL THE RED WIRE IS LIVE ALL THE TIME DIRECT FROM THE BATTERY,if it is not check the starter relay in the passengers footwell.Hope this is of help.
