my chim as i bought it before the saw came out starmist blue bit rough but mine all mine
first thing was the wheels upgraded to jordan rs 17/18 combo
this made the brakes look tiny so big brake upgrade all round hi spec /braided hoses etc

in between clear indicators all round new alarm carl baker stainless act manifolds racing cats then de-cat
then i got bored so i ripped the interior out ,i hated the cream interior allways looked dirty carpets faded ,the seats were cut and welded 2 inch extention pieces in as im 6,3 and the headrest was in the middle of my back trimmed in black soft leather not bad 1st attempt .

some of interior pieces now covered
one thing that is missing from chims is a place to put stuff ,maps, cds sunglasses etc so i made a raised cubbyhole on rear shelf
while i was at it i moved fuses to behind pasenger seat and battery to boot and i didnt extend a singe cable they all reached
cut and shut center consoll to fit
new carpet deep pile start of big ice installtook out ashtrays frenched in tweetersfinished interior
rear shelf cubby hole with tvr in leather

battery in boot big ice install
then i took a hacksaw to the front of the car i allways thought the grill would look better set back 4in so made a fibreglass resessed one oh yes made a splitter out of rubber pipe split down the middle shaped to fit makes a huge diff bonnet doesnt move at all now i know it might not be to everyones taste but i did all the work myself including all the stitching and enjoyed every bit of it now what can i hack off next?

Haha the daily stheap. It works out cheaper to run both rather than just the TVR lol.

ETA

I completely forgot but did you get your clutch done in the end? The grinding noise still appears every so often frown

the splitter was made out of 75mm pipe that you run mains cable through (as a builder its a offcut) cut down through bandsaw as its very flexable almost rubber it takes all speed bumps witgh ease i will take some more photos tomorrow and post them .
as for the battery in boot and ice install the roof fits in no probs at all ,if anyone needs more info ring me on 07870657225 or email me on my profile i have a workshop in hertford and if you want to come down or up you are more than welcome simon

I am just about to move my battery to the boot also, just wondered where you got the matching material to cover the battery & support with?
Also how did you fix the battery support to the inside of the boot walls?

Thanks Andy
