Anybody know this Chim?
Discussion
Hi all, I'm seriously considering a Chimaera purchase in the near future and am just keeping an eye on the market. Does anybody know this car?

It's the best looking example I have seen and I would like to know what has been done to it to achieve the look. Looks like suspension and possibly wheel spacers? Also, any ideas on the colour?
Thanks a lot for any help...

looks like a fairly stnadard set up to me, standard wheels repainted, hate the stick on number plate but thats easily sorted I guess. looks ok but nothing special. have you actually been to see the car? with most cars like this you need to see them and drive them to really get a feel for the car.
I might be tempted to let go of mine if you were interested:
there is also peters (phazed) car if you like green, has a nice daughter in the drivers seat too

Looks like Starmist Blue to me.
Out of the sunlight it goes quite dark but changes to a brighter blue in the sun. If you click on my profile i have about 4 pictures and can see the contrast in different light.
It's one of the popular colors,i have often had comments from non TVR owners saying "I like that color"

Thanks both, I thought it was Starmist. I haven't been to see the car because I am not in a position to buy yet. Rather, I am building up a picture of what I would like so that I know what to look for when I am ready. I'm not usually a fan of aftermarket wheels on Chimaeras, but do quite like the look of those on yours Rib. Are they compomotive MOs?
Think Image Billet style 17 or 60 might look quite cool?

I also saw the Green car for sale, with FOC attractive daughter. Does she do servicing and maintenance?

Speak to phazed... A better example, 450 with more history and plenty of power!http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1995-N-TVR-Chimaera-/131...

Just my opinion but it depends on what the light surrounding are.Yours in that picture looks darker than mine but we both have Starmist Blue.
That's what it says my book anyway. Engine bay my code is P422 4YJ 9B which looking at paint code section on here confirms.
But yours certainly looks different to mine in that picture, does your code match mine.
