Headlight change 'darn sarf'...
Discussion
OK ... more ducks to line up ...
Does anyone have any suggestions for anywhere that could do a decent job of a headlight conversion on a Chim (either a Lupo conversion or the later faired in conversion) that doesn't involve me driving half way up the country? I'm based in Salisbury so ideally somewhere around Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth ... It's just that if I have to take it half way up the country and then leave it a week then I have to get back down south and then back up there again...

You don't fancy trying the DIY route then, Phil?
I was looking at those ones with the cowls built in, but cannot find the link for the life of me! (was on here somewhere).
I have just ordered a new headlight reflector, so that job will be coming up soon....so seriously considering this mod as well.....
I do but my fibreglassing skills are none existent and I don't have the brass balls to attempt to fix in a set of Lupo's myself ... I was looking at those ones with the cowls built in, but cannot find the link for the life of me! (was on here somewhere).

There guys are highly recommended, and they will be doing my car when funds allow.

Ian's a top bloke, and knows his onions.
A bit of a trek, but worth a couple of extra hours back on the train to get the right experienced people to do the job properly IMHO
Yeah - I know - but £900! http://www.sportmotive.com/partsales/headlamp.html

I'm too old and ugly to be choosy and given how fat I am I'd snap Kiera like a twig ... I'd have to velcro her down or she'd be launched like a horizontal ballistic missile!...and TBH I *REALLY* do like the Lupos.

Phil, give Graham Pearce at "Classic Restore" in Eastleigh a call - 02380 613612.
He did a fantastic re-spray on Phil van Nyvel's Chimaera last year, also did a repair to my Tuscan O/S wing. He knows his onions when it comes to grp, he had 3 Alpine A110 in the shop when I was there. (never knew they were grp). I'd quite happily recommend him.
