So that’s a no then

It doesn’t matter how well it’s maintained
If your 5’1” and 8 stone pissed wet though you are not going to get any use out of it

As for the st vag and BMW stuff it will probably need the ecu so parts bin stuff will be a no go

I have found some actuators used in disability cars that use 12v and no “ brain “ I will see what I can do with them

Seem to remember that some of the early attempts at epb (poss Renault?) retained cable operation of the calipers and located a single electric actuator under the boot floor; this might be worth investigating if you can't mount the lumpy bits inside the wheels.
That’s what it is
Still uses the stock cables but is pulled by an electric actuator
Hopefully a switch on the handbrake
Will work it
So it all looks like nothing is amiss

See my offering half way down page 2 - a proper handbrake saved our lives in the mid 1960s
If this can be made to work
It will operate at any speed just like it is now

Trouble with epb is that there is no subtlety, no modulation; it is either off, or very much on.
That’s the plan
On. Off
On is a good thing

Big job. Be nice for her who must be obeyed though.

I suppose you can fibreglass that panel in from above then below when you do the body off next winter thumbup

Or is that panel detachable from manufacture? I can’t remember

I was thinking I might drive mine on Monday......but then I realised there's a new rule that TVRs are for pulling apart and sharing the experience, not for driving.
Never mind, I like breaking rules. wink
Should be back together next week as long as I can get on the miller to wack a bracket out

Main bracket made so it should be fairly easy from now

Actuator mounted to main chassis rail and in possession

And Penelopes box of wet dreams
I will neaten the wires out when the body comes of latter this year
Hopefully my spring will turn up tomorrow so I can keep some tension on the hand brake leaver to stop it bouncing on

Yep works a treat
Leaver is now a switch to apply the brakes
No more riveing at it stamping on the brakes at the same time and still getting very little out of it

And the 5’1 bread knife can apply it without any problems
