Right! Situation so far! Had a leak from heater matrix because it was leaking, so I had it bypassed, removed front number plate, had belts changed and adjusted but my 95 M 4.0HC is still getting warm! (90oC all the time at least!) Ive read the bible and Im looking at thermostat and otter switch next. Can I still bleed the system without the heater or does need doing before I start anything else, its just that to supply and fit the new matrix is overly cheap!
Ta!

90deg is fine, as long as your fans are cutting in regularly and maintaining the temperature around this figure, then I don't think you've got a problem.

It goes above quite easily! Its sticks at 90 oo above, never below! Even last night i didnt go below 90. Doh!

If you've had a leak you will most likely have air in the system, and cooling problems after that suggest you haven't bled the system properly. Having the heater disconnected is no problem, but make sure you bleed the radiator as well as the engine. (Air in the engine will tend to be pushed out into the swirl pot; air in the radiator will tend to stay there until bled out by the drain cock in the top corner.)

Im still a new owner! Ive read the bible, and it tells you how to do it with the heater on full, how do I go about this as mine is gone! Ta!
