tried the search facility as i've read in the past about this but nothing coming up.

I remember some people mentioning about carpet dyes etc to sort out fading carpet etc. The carpets I have are all fine i.e not a lot of wear or staining as such but have yellowed in the UV. they are navy blue and was hoping to find out what sort of stuff i can use to re colour them.

Many thanks

Luckily your carpets are navy blue. Use Renovo roof restorer (obviously one for blue roofs). Worked a treat on my navy carpets. Brush it on lightly with a paintbrush, don't spill any on other colours/fabrics as it will stain them. Once dry it goes a bit stiff (ooer) - just give it a good rub with a cloth and it softens up a treat. Jobs a good 'un.

T'internet only (I think). Or borrow some from a friendly PHer (big tin, nobody will ever use a whole one).

Quick fix it to use blue suede restorer available from shoe shops or supermarkets. Tape up non-blue and spray as per instructions. Usually lasts a season.
I did all my UV'd bits and used 2 cans, although I didn't do it last year.

Yes, but it is not officially for this and not warranted by me.
