Thinking about buying an XJS, just want to make sure it will fit in the garage, does anyone know the dimensions of a facelift 1993 model?

Make sure you have striaght line access to your garage as the turning circle is 47 feet, they can be a reall pain to park. Mine does a 3 point turn to get in to its parking space. The doors are long as well so make sure the garage is wide enough as well.

According to the Haynes manual in the boot of my beastie, all models are something in the region of 190" long, 60" wide and 50" tall.

However the Jaguar repair book gives the width as 70" (as does a few other sources I've checked). This fits with what my eye thinks (ie that my car is a lot wider than it is tall!!!!)

Turning circle varies from 40' to 45' depending on tyres and steering rack. Be warned, replacing the XJS rack with a XJ6/XJ40 rack is quite a common swap because of the availability. This makes steering more of a pain due to the XJ rack having about 1-1.5 turns more for lock-lock than a proper XJS rack

The 60 is probably excluding mirrors, the 70 with mirrors.
