My new XF 3.0DS

These pics taken in the 2-day window of opportunity between picking it up and someone driving into the front of it and wrecking the bumper while it was back at the dealers for a minor fettle. Still waiting on a satisfactory resolution of that one; they've painted it once and the colour is bloody miles out. Going back for a second try, but I'm not holding out much hope it'll be a better job frown

Wow that's a real bummer.
Great colour really suits the Car. Don't let them fob you off .

New to me a couple of months ago 2003 XJ6 SE 110,000 almost full main dealer service history, everything works perfectly except it needs one new headlamp washer, very pleased with it my last Jag was a Series 3 4.2 over 30 years ago, I have plans to get the leaper removed.

Thanks TR4man, I think what it is with Jaguars is they have a brutal look that is also somehow pretty. The XK140 is achingly curvaceous in particular being a FHC but with the heavy bumpers (for the states I believe) it also has an aggressive and brutal look. To be fair I thought the Vitesse was fast for an old car but the XK is on another planet. When the twin cam howls it is a monster. When you consider it is from 1955 it is incredible.

After falling out of love with my car a bit recently, I've just snapped this picture of it and it's coming back.

I know it's only an X-Type, and I know it's only a FWD diesel, but I'm starting to love it again.
