D7a is a platform shared by F Pace, new XF and XE.
D8 is currently only Discovery Sport.
Cough cough..Internal Memo..."Please do not discuss internal information to which you are privvy on a public forum"D8 is currently only Discovery Sport.
I certainly wouldn't discuss anything else I know.
I can't imagine that Jaguar are big enough to not need to share things at this level.

Best send the memo to Autocar too, they published that information almost a year ago......

It's not the same chassis but very, very similar. Some of the suspension arms have different, bushes are different compounds, subframes are slightly different.
The XE also doesn't have the option of the best engine, the V6 diesel.
Can you drop me a line? I'm looking for an expert on XF suspension. The XE also doesn't have the option of the best engine, the V6 diesel.
Do it!
I took my 2 week old tuned XFS on the Nurburgring and had an awesome time, even upset some much quicker cars with the torqey diesels ability to pull away.
Even if your car was the fastest one there, you'd still be overtaken by drivers with more skill, so it matters not one iota if you think your car won't be as fast as others. Lastly, it'll improve your road driving considerably being able to find your cars limits in the safer environment of a track.
Have fun.
