It could also be described as spot on. The MkIV handles like a boat compared to the MkV, it's a massive difference (I've owned both, and I'm not just going by TV or magazine reviews). The MkV Golf interior was a bit of a step backwards from the MkIV, but both A3s (8L and 8P) have great interiors. As for overall value for money, I'd go for an early MkV.

i have decided on the audi a3 sport...insurance is alot cheaper on it aswell....
