S Line= stline
Why?I think the S-Line versions always look better than the non S-line equivalents.
Chavline would be equally appropriate.

My A6 Le Mans Quattro has the following
Quattro Badges on the rear and inside infront of the passenger, quattro on the sillplates
S-Line Badges on the front grille, steering wheel and embossed into the leather on the front seats
No Le-Mans badges anywhere, but some Le Mans edition have them on the front wing

Weird - I thought all A6 LeMans had Lemans badges on them - or was it a delete option from the factory?Quattro Badges on the rear and inside infront of the passenger, quattro on the sillplates

I have an S-Line Quattro. S Line on the front grille, Quattro on the boot lid.
Cheers. Which car?Raven Flyer said:
Quattro is a mechanical spec, S Line is a fit out spec and neither are dependant on the other.
Yes, thanks, I knew that. Just wondered which Audi deemed to be the more important factor when selecting which badge to attach to the grille.(Thank heavens for PH - the only place where you could ask such a question and, not just get a sensible answer, but also not be ridiculed for wondering something so geeky/nerdy)
The non S Line grille is different and doesn't have the place to stick a badge. The badge thing is pure snobbery and I would be happy with no badges.

They shouldn't be chrome, they should be polished aluminium on your S4.Usually known as "bling mirrors"
The aluminium ones look more 'brushed' and feel cold to the touch. The plastic ones that I have have a much more even silver finish and do not feel cold to the touch. They are finished in much the same way as the rest of the bodywork. From what I have read 2004 cars onwards has plastic mirror casings.
