Just ordered a grey estate, 3+23 at £304 for 10k miles - only option was metallic paint as I don't like white cars.
Delivery end of May.
Who was this through? The grey's a great choice.Delivery end of May.
Didn't want white and was offered black or grey for delivery soonish, or choose a colour and take my chances. Chose grey, suits the understated styling.

I managed, somehow, to pick up a Lapiz blue at around half four yesterday afternoon. I'm thinking it was a cancellation...
Must have been. I didn't see these deals last week and shot in to Edinburgh vw at Newbridge yesterday lunchtime to try and get one. All gone there. Anyway i am sure my black one will look great on day one and then terrible for the rest of the time!
Shame about the standard wheels though. I much prefer the Pretorias. But not on a lease car i think.....!!

I don't mind the standard wheels. Certainly nicer than the standard gti alloys.
I like them too - I assumed they were an option actually! ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

Just seen this thread after making an email enquiry with my local vw dealer about an R estate lease deal about 10 mins ago.
It looks like I have missed the boat then?
There are still some sites offering deals on Lease, just do a Google search. It looks like I have missed the boat then?
Of course, they may just not have removed the links yet...

Ok if you guys like them thats good enough for me. I am a glass half full kind of person so always something niggling me. Thats not a good thing!
Tbh I'm not jumping up for joy due to having a white car again - saw a blue one at the weekend (hatch) and do love the Lapis blue - but hey ho - the £600 saving buys me quite a bit of fuel!Gavin-kqzur said:
No just found some as it goes.
And they do seem cheaper.
Think I'd prefer the facelift though.
See what I can find tomorrow.
There were some around last month but these were stock cars actually at dealers. And they do seem cheaper.

You could get around 15% off new orders in March, I don't know if those deals are still around.

Nah, it's, what, £25 a month? A round of drinks not to drive a white car? Bargain! ![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)
Just don't expect me to buy a round of drinks if we meet

Had anyone made the switch from the R hatchback to estate - and got any feedback on the difference??
Got an offer on the estate lined up which works out the same as my current hatchback lease which is due back in September (£350 amortised - Tumeric Yellow, maintained, 10kpa). Thing is I don't really need an estate if I'm honest, but I just think the offer's pretty good. Can't say I've ever found myself wishing I had more boot space in the hatchback, and not sure if the extra length takes something away from the overall looks of the car? So will I end up 'missing' my current hatchback too much?
Torn between going for the estate or holding off for some similar hatchback deals (with everything crossed!).
I swapped my 3 door for one last year and I have to say in many ways prefer it, not quite as sharp and a bit firmer but like the added weight to the rear. Looks wise are subjective but my wife has a 5 door and said no difference except the rear over hang for her.Got an offer on the estate lined up which works out the same as my current hatchback lease which is due back in September (£350 amortised - Tumeric Yellow, maintained, 10kpa). I went from optioned to rental spec and do not really miss the toys and car connect with Apple maps is ay better than the VW Nav.
Way more practical in terms of the boot and you sort of forget its an estate.
Luggage net for the boot is a must.

I will go this week to a VW dealer, do they know about leasing or will they only offer me a PCP?
They have lease people at dealers, I spoke to one last week. However, I'd be shocked if there were any left, they only released 200 in this current deal. You need to jump on these things immediately.JQ said:

VW Newcastle informed me this morning that all the current stock allocation were sold on Friday.marcosgt said:
