Pretty obvious they wouldn't be honored after the previous fiascos.
If you want to get anywhere, report the companies in question to whoever their authorities are - they are just advertising fake deals to get people interested. Whether it's for their details, or in the hope they buy another car or buy the same car at a much greater price I don't know - but they never intended to lease at those prices, ever.
I have a business so can always put it in my business name if I need to although my business has no credit rating... Should this matter? I have already been approved for finance on personal...If you want to get anywhere, report the companies in question to whoever their authorities are - they are just advertising fake deals to get people interested. Had a bit of a weird update today - same text as I got on the 29/9 sayingvmy build date is wc 19/10. However, the email I got this time had "soanonymous soanonymoussurname" as my name. The previous email had my name on it. Furthermore, the email address of the supplying dealer on this most recent email is tribalddbtech@gmail.com - anyone had this before?!

Yeh got this today for my old order number - i also got the text alert from the same VW number as before so it appears ok, i wouldn't be overly concerned just considering this as fancy a hot hatch and its a different drive to my CLS!
Best deal I can see is here
http://www.nationalvehiclesolutions.co.uk/Volkswag...
1800 deposit
23 x £204 £4692
doc fee £199.99
TOTAL £6691.99
All VAT inclusive. Does it get much better with similar deposit?

Just got another text and email. Seems the tracker is having a bit of a mare! Have you reordered?
I didn't reorder as such, the dealership had the same spec car as me on order already for a demo, as the order was about a month in front they offered it to me and they swapped order numbers. Chuffed with that really, mines on the boat.. stage 5 of 7

Its a 5 door but in tornado red yes.
DSG seems to add around £50-70 a monthand nav/leather/bigger wheels bump the price up quickly!
Rule of thumb seems to be; take the outright cost of the option (£1000 for example) and divide that over the lease term (£1000 / 24 months) = £24 = £41.66
So, an option worth £1000 outright will cost you an extra £40 a month on a two year lease.

That's brilliant that mate, is it funded through Arval yeah? Could you be so kind enough to let me know how the handover process goes? I've read about this cooling off period and not being able to get the car until it expires etc. I didn't reorder as such, the dealership had the same spec car as me on order already for a demo, as the order was about a month in front they offered it to me and they swapped order numbers. I ordered in June, seems ages ago now, but starting to get excited!

you have 14 days from signing the lease paperwork (which isn't completed until they a) have a VIN number for the car, B) you've sent all your proofs through c) ARVAL have approved the docs) until they will release the car.
But, they start the paperwork ball rolling as soon as the car is on the boat so hopefully the 14 day cooling off runs concurrently with the car arriving at the dealership.
I've sent all the scans over today and they have been submitted to ARAVL so fingers crossed they accept and send out the paperwork to sign while the car is still gently swaying back and forth making its way to the UK....
to say i was excited would be an understatement. i managed to switch off and no think about it when i first ordered because i knew id be a nightmare. now its 'on its way' its hard to shut it out.
I will fully admit, i am a 40 year old guy that's getting butterflies every time i think of getting the car. - its the first new car i've ever 'had' and it will be the most powerful too.
ok.. ill stop now lol..

Interesting, Just got this reply from INCH VW
Good morning Mr. McIntyre,
I see that you are requesting a PCH deal which Volkswagen are now doing for private individuals, however the Golf R and the entire Golf range is excluded from this product. Models such as Scirocco, Touran, Tiguan and Passat are available on this campaign amongst others.
Contract Hire deals are only available to business users, to which I understand you are not and are aware that Volkswagen pulled the plug on private individuals declaring they were business users, therefore the best option I can offer as a private user is the PCP example we provided.
Please let me know if you would like me to provide any further examples
So if I want a Golf R who do I contact, as I previously posted the price fro a RED DSG from centraluk was
VW Golf R 2.0TSI DSG 5dr Hatch
6+23
10,000 Miles Per Annum
£273.18 +Vat
Doc Fee £150.00 + VAT
No where even close to any of the deals you are all posting here
Is anybody honestly supposed to believe that an official email was sent out using the term ' pulled the plug'. Haha pull the other one.Good morning Mr. McIntyre,

What's made you do that? Did u face any financial penalty from arval? The main reason I haven't switched over is because I don't want yet another credit search on my file. Personal lease direct with VW.
