Of course fair enough, based on my conversations with the dealership afterwards i was not the only one that was mislead so my apologies for assuming you were one of them and had just included phil on the credits without realising.

Im happy that based on the responses my comment got that i must have been in the minority for the bad experience.

Have to also add that Dave and Steffi have been amazing and more than made up for Phils failings.

As a whole, the dealership rescued a really bad situation.

Breaking bad, apologies if you took offence to anything i said, it certainly wasn't my intention to dig at you, just the salesman.

The cheap deals have ended now unfortunately (31/10/2014)

You may still be lucky though and find the odd dealer / leasing company that has one or two on order at the old price (price protected)

Is that plus VAT?. The deal was about £6600 over two years 20,000 miles inc VAT. That was a standard car. I believe most extras were fully paid over the term with the exception of DSG which attracted a slight discount ( there was an increase in the final value for a DSG equipped, not so paint etc)

Correct, Dealer is charging me £800.00 for DSG (23 x £34.78)

That's most likely an old quote.

New quotes are coming in at just over £100 a month extra for a base spec 5 door manual.
