After seeing those pics I'm very pleased i've ordered nav blue!

Has anyone else ordered a sportback with Fleetsauce and promised a late march delivery? I managed to get logged in to the Audi site to see the progress and my car now has a construction start date of 13th March, does anyone have any idea how long it takes from construction to delivery?
Yep - ordered a SB with Fleetsauce 11th Nov and was quoted end March delivery.

YourAudi is currently stating 10th April as build start date which is a bit of a pain.

Am hoping it will improve. I'll be contact FS next week to see what they say re any impact cost wise if it's going to be a post end March delivery, which is looking likely.
My situation is identical but with V4B, but the dealer is maintaining the week 10 build date being correct rather than the April date. But if the April date is incorrect then why have the tracker?

Looks lovely Simon!!!

The colour really 'pop's now. Looks a thousand times better than the demo that they had at Cheshire Oaks Audi that I saw!!!!

Looks very nice indeed!

Out of interest what does your service computer say? Has it been set to annual servicing or long life?

Yes looks way better than the two nav blue ones I have seen (both in sunlight but not bright days). I just wonder how much of it is down to lighting and how much down to the work that has been done.... how about some outdoor pics Simon? cool

Of course some of it is down to the lighting just as having your car in the sun shows the paint off. Outside it obviously doesnt ping as much especially as its so dull lately but you can still see the depth and shine to the paint that just wasnt there beforehand. One thing that was really noticeable when i had it done on my Golf R was gow easy the car was to keep clean and how it seemed to repel dirt and water.
Ill put a few pics i took early.this morning though they dont really do it justice.

That is one thing I am interested in, getting it treated so it keeps clean more easily. Maybe not to the point of getting it detailed but a machine polish or similar. Mine is going to be in black so not a lot of depth to the colour anyway!

I can highly recommend a product called "opti Seal", I was introduced to it about 12 months ago and to me it's absolutely ideal. Basically it's a sealant that goes over the top the paintwork once you have finished sorting out any paintwork imperfections such as scratches and swirls. You need to do better research about what glaze to use to go underneath it, but I find that Poorboys black hole glaze does a great job of creating a really beautiful looking paint finish. once you've applied it once then run the option seal over-the-top which basically creates a barrier to the paintwork.
In my experience it then makes cleaning the car so much easier. I only found out just before Christmas that some people are then using opti seal as a product to help white down a damp car and essentially adds protection the same time as removing the water from the car.
There are loads of videos about it on you tube.

I'm in exactly the situation as the above, mine is a sport back, also ordered through Fleetsauce on the same date, 11th November. My tracking date is also showing 10th April.

The date has jumped around a bit through December, but seems to have been on April 10th for the last few weeks. When I first started moving around I spoke to Fleetsauce, they in turn spoke to the dealer who said to wait until towards the end of January when the dates should then settle down.
I specifically asked the question about taxing the car and was told that there wouldn't be any tax increase if the delivery went beyond the change date (can't remember when that is).

I decided to try and have a little bit of patience and wait now until the end of January to see what the date then says, at that point I will touch base with Fleetsauce.

The tax change is the 1st, and good to know I aren't the only one who has been told its not going to be a problem!

Ditto. Thanks for the responses. I feel a bit more at ease now (not helped by the fact the Golf R goes back at end of March and going to down to 1 car when your wife will only be a few weeks from giving birth would be a nightmare)

oxnop, if your Golf is leased through VWFS then you can "informally" extend the lease for up to 3m to tie in with delivery of your new VAG car, just give VWFS a ring and they will arrange for you, monthly payments will stay the same.

Nope, mine has been showing 20th Feb for since end of Nov and not shifted. Ordered 01/11.
