Yeah, they just emailed me this morning to say the car could be picked up at the start of next week, I had the stage 7 update on Saturday so I guess the car arrived at the dealers around Friday/Saturday.Got mine this morning and taken it for a quick spin around the block. Will get a longer drive in tonight. Looks awesome in the flesh, and its got some go. It doesn't look too big (someone earlier commented how more compact it was than they were expecting) but the boot space is enormous - so perfect for what I need.
I just drove around for 10 mins with the media turned off and the windows down listening to the exhaust. I can imagine turning the sound ackuator down at some point, but not until the novelty has worn off.
Dead easy to pick up the auto hold and stop start. Will have a play about with the app connect and cruise control stuff tonight.
I'm chuffed with it

Might try and post a pic if I can work out how...After ordering and paying the deposit nearly 2 weeks ago I still haven't received an order number from the lease company. I'm contacting them every day to ask for it and continue to receive an apology and that they are chasing VW for it.
They did say the order is in the system but surely if there is no order number then the car isn't in a queue to be built?
Anyone else have an issue like this? I need the car for the end of September as I have a buyer for my current vehicle.

You are 100% right. So now I seem to have received a straight answer from the lease company after further pestering. I was initially told I'd have an order number on the same day the deposit was made.
What's the current build times? I was told 12 - 14 weeks by the lease company but TBH I've lost faith and don't believe them.

Anyone know what's the procedure for cancelling? Does the 14 day cooling off period apply to lease agreements? I'd say the £300 deposit would probably be lost?
