A6 1.8T remapping

Just become the proud owner of a Jan '03 1.8T A6 Avant.
I wanted a 2.7 but couldn't find one I liked second hand. Got a great deal on the 1.8T and persuaded myself to buy it since it can be remapped up to c.190 bhp.
Anyone got any recommendations for where to get this done? AmD in Bicester seem a good operation - any experience out there?
Also - anyone know if getting the engine remapped will affect the Audi warranty?

AmD are one of the more respected VAG tuners. Try Tyresmoke.net or Audi-Sport.net for more views.
Also consider JabbaSport, MTM, APR and Revo - most will take it up to just under 200 but with different delivery.
Warranty will be voided but any sensible dealer will only exclude affected parts (engine, drivetrain etc) but this could als affect suspension etc.
Some Audi dealerships (Wayside in MK) have been known to act as 'introducers' to AmD and will cover their work.
